The Scout Terra body sits atop a frame from a 1993 Dodge Ram pickup and is finished in red with a silver roof, lower body panels, bumpers, and fender flares. Aftermarket bumpers feature an A-bar, Warn winch, and roller fairlead up front, an integrated receiver hitch in the rear, and recovery points at both ends. Additional modifications include diamond-plate running boards, LED driving and reverse lights, a roll bar, a WeatherTech toolbox, and spray-on bed liner.
Seats from a Chevrolet truck are trimmed in gray cloth and are accompanied by matching carpets over sound-deadening material. Amenities include a power-adjustable driver seat, power locks, air conditioning, keyless entry, and a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth, USB, and auxiliary inputs.
Aftermarket instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a dash-mounted tachometer, a pyrometer, and gauges for boost, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 4K miles Total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 5.9-liter Cummins 6BT turbodiesel inline-six is said to feature a Scheid injection pump and 60-lb injectors as well as an aftermarket cold air intake. The fuel filter was replaced and a water separator was added in February 2024, and the batteries were replaced in preparation for the sale.
Polished 17″ Mickey Thompson wheels wear Toyo Open Country R/T tires and are mounted over manually locking hubs up front. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, all of which were replaced in August 2020. A RedHead steering gearbox was also installed. The truck is equipped with Rancho shocks and steering stabilizers.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed NV4500 manual transmission, a dual-range NP205 transfer case, and Dana axles. A single exhaust pipe splits into dual outlets exiting behind each rear wheel. A 2018 dyno video from Power Driven Diesel featuring the truck is shown below.
